The Irish Wolfhound grows
at an incredible rate. The newborn pup weighs about 1 to 1-1/2 pounds. By
the time it is ready to go to its new home at around 12-13 weeks of
age,
it can weigh around 40 to 50 pounds.

 Puppies at one

Colors range from wheaten brindles to
red brindles.

 Same puppy as
above at 12 weeks of age.
See how he has
lightened up.
The growing puppy
once he is in his new home:
At 4 1/2 months the
puppy can still fit into your favorite chair.

At 6 months it takes a couch for the two of you to cuddle.
At 10 1/2 months he begins to
look more like a real wolfhound.
Thanks to Sue Orr for this great
pictorial.
