	IN GENERAL: On a state AND federal level: Tell Your State Representative and Senator Your Story of Breed Discrimination More and more dog owners are being told by homeowners' insurance carriers that they will lose their coverage if they refuse to give up their dog, even if they are long-time customers and their dog has never bitten or attacked anyone.
