IWANE is a breed club
dedicated to the welfare of the Irish Wolfhound. IWANE subscribes to the
purpose and intent of the
Code of Ethical
Conduct and
Standard of Behavior for Breeders of our breed's parent club, the
Irish Wolfhound Club of America,
Inc.
We hold four meetings a year - a spring
meeting, a meeting at the IWANE match, a meeting at the IWANE Specialty, and
a fall meeting.
Our members include Irish
Wolfhound breeders as well as families and single owners with one hound.
Some members show their hounds in conformation or obedience (or both),
others participate in tracking, lure coursing, pet therapy, or just enjoy
their hounds' company. We also have a well-organized Rescue Program.
If you would like
to join IWANE please download and print the associate member
form, fill out and mail to the secretary (address on form). Please be
sure to complete all items; incomplete applications will be
returned. Your
application will be reviewed at the next Board meeting. The membership year
runs January 1st through December 31st.
*** Members are expected to attend
meetings and participate in the club.
***
Sponsors are
required for membership; if you do not know any
club members, check the
calendar of
events page and plan on attending and getting acquainted. You will be
welcome!
